We are planning 2 litters this year. Gabby will be bred for her first litter for an all red litter. These puppies should excel in conformation, agility, herding and obedience. They will also make fabulous family companions. If you are interested in finding out more information about this litter, please contact us.

The 2nd litter we are currently working on has the possibility of producing all 4 colors. We are still working out the details for this litter but both of these parents have produced multiple champion offspring as well as puppies titled in agility, obedience and herding. If you are interested in finding out more about this cross, please contact us here.

All homes will be very carefully evaluated for a potential match. We will be really looking for homes that will do (and preferably have experience in) all venues.

Why pay more for a pet puppy?

A Thornbury litter is not a frequent thing, so when we do have one, it's with lots of forethought and planning.  It is only after thorough research do we set the date down to take place.  Each of the potential parents will have had hips and eyes checked and certified, will be either OFA Good or Excellent (or equivalent PENN Hip), and will be structurally sound, free from disqualifying faults.  We do not breed just to breed.  Careful consideration is used to compare the positive and negatives of any potential mating.  Our goal is to produce quality puppies that can compete in any venue or be a long lasting family member.  We are very picky on where our little Thornburies go.  If we do not have something available that will suit your needs, we will be happy to recommend other breeders who might better meet your needs.

Thornbury sells all of our puppies with written and signed contracts, guaranteeing the pups against hereditary defects, upto and including hip dysplasia, eye defects and temperament defects.

Your Thornbury puppy will come with:

When Thornbury Aussies sells a "show" puppy, we are not guaranteeing that this puppy will complete his/her Championship, only that this puppy is quality enough (according to the AKC and ASCA Breed Standards) at time of sale, to be a show prospect and possibly be competitive in the conformation ring.  Several factors will come into play for a dog to obtain his championship, and that includes time with training and grooming, along with presentation in the ring.  All of these factors must be in place for your puppy to excel in the conformation ring.  Thornbury will always be available for support, advise, and any other help with your Thornbury puppy.

We maintain the right to take one of our puppies or grown Aussies back at any time due to neglect, or abuse. We also maintain the First Right of Refusal on any of our dogs that we have bred at any time.

All puppies sold as pets must be spayed or neutered at sexual maturity, and will be registered with
"Not for Breeding".
